NOTE
FROM MR. JASWINDER SINGH
I came
to UK in the early 1970’s and soon after that my brothers
and sisters followed me to UK. During this time my
parents remained in India. All my other relatives
in the early 1980’s migrated to Philippines and Canada.
Although I have been visiting my parents who were left alone
in a small village in Punjab (India), it has always
been my desire to call them to U.K. I had tried unsuccessfully
through unscrupulous Agents who misguided me and took
large amount of money without fulfilling their promise of
getting my parents to come and live with me in U.K.
I am
grateful to U.K. Immigration Consultancy (P) Limited who
had arranged to prepare all the documentation in UK as well
as relevant paper work in India and represented my illiterate
father and mother at the British High Commission and successfully
obtained Settlement Visa which allowed them to join me in
U.K.
I am
thankful to the staff of U.K. Immigration Consultancy (P)
Limited who have allowed the continuance of Sikh Tradition
in which it is the moral duty and responsibility of the
elder son to look after and serve his parents during their
old age.
