MANPREET SINGH
I
lived in a very small village in Punjab. My life changed
when I met Makhan Singh who came to our village from UK
to meet his relatives. Our friendship soon developed in
a relationship and I conceived Manpreet Singh in 1998.
The society did not endorse my relationship with Makhan
Singh who was a married man. Inspite of his frequent visits
to my village to see me and our son, we always desired
to live together in UK. My husband Makhan Singh contacted
UKIC who handled this difficult case very sensitively
and dealt with all aspects of my application to join Makhan
Singh in UK. My family and I will be indebted to UKIC
immigration lawyer, Mr. Harbans Singh who represented
us at the British High Commission in November 2000. Being
from a village and also uneducated, was very apprehensive
to face an interview situation. Mr. Harbans Singh presented
a comprehensive set of documentation along with skilled
presentation of our case to the Entry Clearance Officer.
It was the joyous moment of our lives when he informed
us that the Entry Clearance Officer has agreed to issue
Settlement Visa to our son and I without the need for
interviewing us. We would highly recommend UKIC for their
professional and qualified immigration advice and legal
representation.
