After refusal of entry clearance on 1 November 2000, I lost hope to attend the marriage of my real niece which was to be solemnised on 12 November 2000 where I had to perform certain essential religious rituals. In the marriage of niece, maternal uncle has an important role to play but refusal of entry clearance deprived me of this role to play in the marriage. I became disappointed.
