After
obtaining Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Gurunanak University,
I started learning computer in Vajra Computer Training Institute
Jalandhar Cantt and learnt the basic concepts. My aim was
to go for higher studies in Information Technology for my
professional attainment in my future career. I explored
the possibility of getting admission in any reputed university
of UK, which had a worldwide reputation for its excellent
education system in the field of IT, Computer science, e-Commerce.
I wanted to follow Information Technology course as it could
provide me career prospects in |
| the
growing demand
for professionals in this field in India. Most of the global
IT companies have already established their base in India,
therefore, a degree in the Information Technology from a
foreign country could provide me with an advantage over
the other candidates who have obtained diploma from local
unaccredited institutions in India. I happened to meet Mr.
Balwant Singh, an immigration lawyer of UK Immigration Consultancy
who sent prospects of Thames Ville University and helped
me to choose the correct course and to seek admission in
the University. He came to India to help me in the preparation
of correct documents and counselled me for two whole days
and represented me personally at the British High Commission
on 10 August 2001 and got me visa at the assessment counter
itself. With his help I was able to join my course by 3
September 2001. I attribute my success to the efficient
and skilled guidance coupled with perfect counselling and
personal representation of Immigration Consultancy's lawyers
without whose help student visa might have been a dream
for me. |
