SHARANJIT KAUR

I was born on 19 September 1984 in India to my parents who were British Residents but had been staying in India most of time. My father kept on shuttling between UK and India and my mother stayed back to look after my grand parents and brought up my brother and me in India only. I completed my graduation in India and wanted to go to the UK for higher studies which could be possible under the category of dependent children as my father was a resident of Britain. But since he had been in India most of the time looking after agriculture land, hence arose the third party support for the maintenance and accommodation of me in the UK. This was offered by my uncle in the UK. I am extremely grateful to Mr. Vivek Chadha, immigration lawyer of UK Immigration Consultancy Ltd. for his skilled counselling, preparation and presentation of my case at the British High Commission. He personally represented me at the British High Commission and I was overjoyed when granted settlement visa to join my parents in UK.
